Plated for Protection

CIP's mechanical plating and galvanizing services are ideal for metal components that will be subjected to torquing, vibration or other adverse movements which could rupture the finish and reduce a components effectiveness.

We coat parts made of low carbon steel, cold-rolled steel, high-carbon heat-treated steel, tool steels, high-strength alloys, free machining steels, nitrided steels, sintered iron, malleable iron and nodular iron and cast iron, as well as brass, bronze and zinc die castings.
The advantages of plating and galvanizing are:
  • The elimination of hydrogen embrittlement
  • Provides heavy-duty corrosion resistance
  • Creates a uniformity of coating thickness
  • Eliminates the need for curing
  • Excellent adhesion to the base metal
